The week of April 14th

We started the week off with another great meeting in the Mayor’s office with Mayor Tyler, Christopher Allen, and Nikki Grigsby from Muncie Sanitation.   Things are looking great on several projects as we continue to work with the Mayor’s office to help have a great impact in the community.

After that we had the opportunity to be included in Kelsey Timmerman‘s speech at Ball State.  Kelsey being a big supporter of our cause was kind enough to mention us in his presentation as well as let us set up a table to share information with the attendees.  In preparation for this opportunity, we had the need to get our first poster of information put together, quickly!  Thanks to CS Kern and the creative powers of Amanda Ols0n we were able to get a great poster put together, printed, and mounted just in time for the event.   It’s great to have great people in the community always looking out for someone looking to lift the community up.  A huge thanks to Kelsey for the opportunity and CS Kern for helping us to deliver on it!

The last winter farmer’s market was Saturday at Minnetrista and we were able to continue our conversation with producers on the standing vendor policies for the upcoming 2014 season.   We hope to provide some data in the near future on this to help the community chart a course for success when it comes to farmer’s markets.
