We have received a Rapid Grant from Ball Brothers

In continuance of their support of the programs of Farmished, the Ball Brothers Foundation have awarded us recipients of their one of their rapid grants.  This grant was awarded in response to the donation of the Frank Foundry property in order to clean up and secure the property for use in our Urban Training Farm program.  The property needs some immediate attention like mowing, pruning, fence row clean up, fence and gate repair, change of ownership signage, securing the remaining building, as well as some short term rubble management and safety lighting.  This very generous $5,000 grant will allow us to take care of these fundamental needs and help improve the public safety of the lot for the neighborhood.   We would like to offer a sincere thank you to the Ball Brothers Foundation.  Gifts like these make the community a dramatically better place and keep initiatives moving forward.  It also provides encouragement for others to take initiative and continually make Muncie better and better.
