Farmished names Kelli Huth to Board of Directors

On October 29th, the Farmished Board of Directors approved the nomination of Kelli Huth to the Board. Kelli Huth Huth joins the board with deep ties to the community and Ball State University.  She currently serves in the role of Director of the Building Better Communities Fellows program which connects Indiana businesses and nonprofit organizations with Ball State University resources.  Through immersive learning, interdisciplinary teams of students collaborate to help address the challenges of local organizations. The BBC Fellows program provides the opportunity for students to gain professional experience and skills through partnerships in Indiana’s communities.  In addition to her passion for the Farmished cause, Huth brings a unique background and perspective to the Board.  After spending 3+ years living in Arcosanti, an urban laboratory focused on innovative design, community, and environmental accountability located just outside of Mayer, Arizona working for the Cosanti Foundation, Huth has a great appreciation for what Farmished is promoting here in Muncie/Delaware county.  “This local initiative will help to increase public understanding of sustainable food systems and why they are important.  It will also meet a great need in this community by supporting the people who want to grow and raise food for themselves and others.  When I was asked to help support this mission, it was an easy decision” Huth noted.  The Farmished team is elated to have Kelli Huth as the newest member.  Please extend your congratulations to her on this appointment.
